About Agadir Al-Massira Airport (AGA)

There are plans in place for the addition of new terminal facilities, but details have not yet been finalised.

Additionally, Air Arabia Maroc offers the shuttle service Air Arabia Express which links the city of Agadir to the the airport.

Driving directions:

From Agadir, take the N1 road south (or the N10 east) to Ait Melloul, then turn on to the P1714, which runs directly past Agadir-Al Massira Airport.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Local bus 22 leaves from a bus stop on the main road, about five minutes' walk from the terminal building. The service runs from 0600 to 2030 to Inezgane on the outskirts of the city, from where other buses depart to central (buses 20, 24 or 28) and resort areas. The fare to Inezgane is 4 Dh, and onward journeys cost 3 Dh.

Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside Arrivals. The journey time into central Agadir is about 20 minutes, and the fixed fare is 200 Dh. It's also possible to pre-book minibus transfers online ahead of travel.

Terminal facilities

Money:

ATMs and a currency exchange service are available in the terminal building.

Food:

There is a cafeteria at Agadir-Al Massira Airport selling light meals and snacks.

Shopping:

Several shops, including a duty-free outlet, offer a range of goods including local arts and crafts and other gifts.
 

Luggage:

Left-luggage lockers are not available, but a lost and found service operates – contact airport information (tel: +212 288 39112) or ask airport staff for more information on lost items.

Other:

There is a travel agency based in the arrivals area of the terminal.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no conference facilities at Agadir-Al Massira Airport; however there is a VIP lounge providing basic business services. Full meeting and conference facilities are available in the larger Agadir hotels – notably the Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort (tel: +212 528 849 200; www.sofitel.com), which is one of the city's premier 5-star options and is situated on the seafront, about 24km (16 miles) from the airport.
 

Communication Facilities:

Public payphones are located within the terminal building. There is a post office on site. Wi-Fi access is also available.

Disabled facilities:

Agadir-Al Massira Airport is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Various facilities are available for disabled passengers, including wheelchair provision and assistance to and from the aircraft – passengers should notify their airline and the airport in advance of any special requirements.
 

Car parking:

Short and long-term parking is available opposite the terminal building.

Car hire companies at Agadir-Al Massira Airport include: Avis, AirCar, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and a number of local operators.
