Carnaval de Strasbourg (Strasbourg Carnival)

Due to its proximity to Germany, the Strasbourg Carnival is celebrated with gusto. Dazzling costumes, floats, dance and music are the main features of this event, which also marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The main parade goes through landmarks such as Place Kléber and Place Gutenberg, and after that, party-goers continue their revelry at bars and clubs long into the night.

European Fantastic Film Festival

The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival (SEFFF) takes place every September and focuses on fantasy, science fiction and horror films. The festival kicks off with the Great Strasbourg Zombie Walk with students from a make-up school ready to offer you their services.

Christkindelsmärik (Christmas Market)
