Underwater Observatory Marine Park
The many colours of Eilat are best enjoyed from the observatory six meters underwater. The marine park doesn’t have fences to keep the rich marine life in – the coral reef ecosystem is a natural home for them. Other key sights within the marine park include the Oceanarium (simulator) and a shark pool.

Dolphin Reef
This very laid-back attraction believes that dolphins should live in their natural environment with minimal human intervention. The school of bottlenose dolphins here are not trapped or contained, but simply enjoy swimming and diving alongside humans in their natural habitat. Within the venue, there are three relaxing pools and an ultra-chilled beach.

Coral Beach Nature Reserve
Spanning 1.2km, the coral reef runs parallel to the beach and offers excellent snorkelling and diving opportunities. Visitors can rent snorkelling equipment and explore the relatively shallow beach alone or with an instructor. There is a small admission fee which helps to maintain the nature reserve.

Eilat Mountains Nature Reserve
A wide expanse of rocky landscape with wild gazelles roaming freely, the area is criss-crossed with hiking trails. One of the most popular ones goes through the Red Canyon, which gets its name from the reddish colour of the sheer rock faces. You can also enjoy a long camel ride into the nature reserve (provided by Nachal Shlomo Camel Ranch) which takes you to a lookout point where you can see four countries (Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia) on a clear day.

Eilat Ornithological Park
Eilat sits on a major bird migration route and twice a year, the city sees thousands of birds stopping to take advantage of the fresh water lakes and salt flats in Eilat, as they prepare to cross the Saharan desert. Get your binoculars ready to witness the spectacular flight of migratory birds such as black kites and steppe eagles. No admission fee, but guided tours are available for a fee.

Eilat City Museum
This museum charts the transformation of Eilat from a remote outpost to a premier holiday destination on the Red Sea coast. Visitors can also learn about the fascinating fauna living in the desert, as well as sea the sea creatures that take up residence in Eilat’s coral-filled waters.
