Passports
To enter Morocco, your passport should be valid for at least six months from your entry date.

Make sure that your passport is not damaged and is stamped upon entry.
Visas
At present, Morocco allows nationals from the following countries and territories to enter without a visa for the purpose of tourism for up to 90 days. These countries are Algeria, Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, China, Congo (Brazzaville) (needs an AEVM), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Gabon, Germany, Greece, Guinea, Hong Kong*, Hungary*, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives*, Mali (needs an AEVM), Malta, Monaco, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, Spain, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.
* Hong Kong & Maldives nationals: a visa-free stay of 30 days maximum; Hungary nationals: a visa-free stay of 90 days maximum.
AEVM = Electronic Travel Authorization to enter Morocco

Nationals of Maldives, Mauritius, Madagascar and Seychelles can obtain a visa at the border.

Types and Cost
To apply for a Moroccan tourist visa, you must have:
• A visa application form;
• Bank statements;
• Two photographs in colour on white background (4cm x 3cm) showing the features of the face clearly;
• Identity card, residence permit or any document that proves the address;
• A photocopy of the passport (pages indicating the identity and validity);
• The validity of the passport or the travel document must be longer than the duration of stay and it must have a validity of at least 90 days at the time of application for an e-visa;
• Attestation of invitation duly legalised, in case of family visit, including guarantee of covering medical and possible repatriation expenses, or a request from an authorised travel agency or recommendation of the Ministry of Tourism or the representation of the Moroccan National Tourist Office.
Fees vary.
Validity
Tourist visa: usually 90 days.

Consulate (or consular section at embassy) or online as an e-visa (www.acces-maroc.ma/#/e-visa).
Working days
Visas are usually processed within two weeks.
Sufficient Funds
Visa applicants must provide bank statements.
Entry with pets
Pets may be allowed if they are microchipped with an ISO-compliant 15-digit chip, vaccinated for rabies, took a rabies titer test and has a health certificate, which is not older than three days on entry. Please note that Morocco bans many dangerous dog breeds such as the Staffordshire bull terrier, the pit bull, the mastiff and the boerboel.
