Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: No buses enter the airport grounds; the nearest stop is on Avenida Elmer Faucett. Public buses can become crowded at peak times and drivers generally don't speak English.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport; it is recommended that passengers use the services of one of three official taxi companies located directly outside the arrivals hall (CMV, Mitsui or Taxis Verde). The fare to central Lima is about S/.68, and the trip takes 30 minutes.
Terminal facilities
Money:
There are bureaux de change in the main hall of the international concourse. ATMs are available throughout the airport.
Food:
There are restaurants in the international area (on the mezzanine level), as well as cafés and fast-food outlets at various points within the terminal.
Shopping:
Duty-free shopping is available before customs. The Peru Plaza shopping area is situated in the main hall and houses shops selling local crafts, books, magazines and other items.
Luggage:
The left-luggage office is located in Domestic Arrivals (tel: +51 1 517 3217). Baggage protection is also available in the main hall.
Other:
On the mezzanine level there is a pharmacy and a medical centre (tel: +51 1 575 1745), the latter of which can provide a vaccination service – emergency medical services are available 24 hours a day. There is a railway ticket office in the domestic area.

Conference and business:
Meeting and event space is available at the on-site Ramada Costa del Sol hotel (tel: +51 1 711 2000; www.ramada.com).
There are three VIP lounges operated by airlines and other organisations: the Peru VIP Lounge, the VIP Club Lounge for first-class passengers of specific airlines, and the Authorities Lounge. Diners Club card holders may use the VIP lounges in the terminal.
Communication Facilities:
There is an internet café in the international transit area. Mobile phones are available to buy or rent at Claro in International Arrivals. There is also a post office (Serpost) on the second floor of the terminal.
Disabled facilities:
There are adapted toilets for disabled travellers at Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport: ramps provide wheelchair access to all areas of the terminal. Passengers requiring wheelchairs should contact their airline in advance. Facilities for visually impaired and hearing-impaired passengers comply with international regulations.
Car parking:
The main car park is located in front of the main terminal building. The first 45 minutes of parking are charged at a set rate; parking is then paid on an hourly basis. Long-term parking is located to the right of the car park entrance.
The car parking facilities are operated by Los Portales S.A. (tel: +51 1 517 3234). Short stay parking must be paid in cash (Peruvian sol or U.S. dollars). Payment by credit/debit card is only available for prolonged parking service. Visa, Mastercard, and Diners cards are accepted.

Car hire firms Budget, Avis and Hertz are each represented at the airport, with desks in International Arrivals.
